jLog V 6.15  -  Release notes

jLog is a modern Logging program for Hams that can run on all major platforms, e.g. macOS, Linux, Windows, etc. It offers a nice, clean interface and allows efficient entry of QSOs. It provides good real-time integrations and Internet lookups and logging.

A new V6.15 release of jLog is available from https://jlog.org and brings the following changes:

Enhancements

  • Added support for radios shared via Flrig
  • Added support for radios connected using Hamlib (tested with Wfview and SmartSDR for Mac)
  • CAT over TCP for modern Icom radios is supported, e.g. via Wfview. Note: Icom UDP not supported directly
  • New modes supported:
    • FT2 added to Mode MFSK
    • FREEDATA added to Mode DYNAMIC
    • Mode OFDM added with Submodes RIBBIT_PIX and RIBBIT_SMS
    • Mode FSK added with Submodes SCAMP_FAST, SCAMP_SLOW, SCAMP_VSLOW
    • Mode MTONE added with Submodes SCAMP_OO, SCAMP_OO_SLW
  • View->Search: added Remarks field

Corrections

  • Club Log submission works after Club Log certificate changes

Minor changes

  • Updated to JDK 25.04 LTE (except for macOS x86 version updated to JDK 21.12 LTE)
